Chinese dogs and falcon chase a hare

This group of falconers were no different to the falconers I had been with the week before in Southern China. On the whole their dogs looked the part for the job, here with the TuHu falconers they had a mixed bunch of longdogs.

A few were quite close in size and looks to working greyhounds and a few others looked like crosses with something that gave them a little more body and reduced their height.

Then as in my previous week we had the doggy hangers-on, mixed terrier types who came along for the fun of the day.

Once the hare was up the chase was on, but not out of the county. As soon as the dogs had the pace of the hare they aimed to run her in a large circle.
